Adama Sidibeh named in SPFL team of the week

Adama Sidibeh has been named in the SPFL team of the week following his stunning overhead kick against Dundee at the weekend.

The striker opened his account for Saints in spectacular fashion at McDiarmid Park and celebrated in style in front of the East Stand.

Adama led the line brilliantly throughout the Scottish Premiership match and he is now looking to kick on over the remainder of the season.

Speaking after Saturday's match, he said: “I think the performance was good, it was just one of those days.

“It was a really happy moment for me scoring my first goal for the club. It was what I was dreaming for.

“And it was good giving the fans what they want. They have been waiting for the goals.

“It was also a nice moment scoring my first goal for the club in front of my family, who were watching me. I was really happy, to be honest.

“I had been waiting for that first goal. Now the confidence is back again. We will keep working smart for the next game.”
